Just 5 minutes from a hamlet with local shops and services (bakery, convenience store, bar/tobacconist, pizzeria, restaurants, hairdresser, post office, doctor, pharmacy, petrol station), 10 minutes from Vic-sur-Cère (water park, supermarket, all shops) and 15 minutes from Le Lioran ski resort. A mountain retreat with a unique view, in the Auvergne Volcanoes Regional Nature Park. Panoramic views of Faillitoux waterfall (41 m drop) and the Cantal mountains. South-facing, with 2,500 m² of enclosed grounds. The 70 m² house has a living room with a stone fireplace, wood-burning stove, large farmhouse table, open-plan kitchen, 2 bedrooms, a mezzanine in one bedroom (ladder access), bathroom with bathtub, separate WC, flat-screen TV, Blu-ray player, equipped kitchen (oven, microwave, coffee maker, kettle, raclette and fondue sets), and washing machine. Cot and high chair on request. Wi-Fi available in the cottage. Outside: ski/bike/snowshoe storage, sun loungers, garden furniture, barbecue, play areas, uncovered terrace and on-site parking. Electric heating and wood-burning stove. One pet allowed. No events permitted. At 800 m in a hamlet on the Cère valley slopes, near Curebourse pass (997 m), this 1880 house, renovated in 2013, blends period charm with modern comfort (4-star holiday accommodation). In Auvergne Volcanoes Regional Nature Park, it is just a 5-minute walk from Vic-sur-Cère town centre (all shops) and the SNCF railway station. Enjoy a detached, typically Auvergne country house built of lava stone with a slate roof, 2,000 m² of private enclosed grounds and private parking. South-facing and not overlooked, it offers superb views of the valley and Cantal mountains. The cosy mountain-style interior blends stone and wood, with a traditional “cantou” inglenook, scullery, wood-burning stove and electric heating. All bedrooms have sloping ceilings and exposed beams.
